Philippa is passionate about physiotherapy. She loves to help get people moving, healthy and performing at their optimum. After graduating top of her (Dunedin based) class in 2007 from Otago University Philippa has worked for 8 years in private practice, treating a wide variety of conditions. She completed a Post-graduate Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine in 2010 and went on to finish her Masters in Health Practice in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from AUT in 2012. Philippa has completed a Post-graduate Certificate in Physiotherapy, endorsed in Acupuncture (2010) and also a Post-graduate Certificate in Health Sciences – Continence Management (2013). This extensive knowledge base gives her the skills along with evidence-based practice to provide quality physiotherapy care for a wide variety of conditions.
Philippa has provided physiotherapy care for the North Otago Heartland Rugby team since 2008 and has toured Japan and the Pacific Islands with the team.
When she is not travelling the country with the rugby team or completing assignments, Philippa spends her time with her husband and young family. She enjoys the outdoors, exercising and a nice coffee (or wine!).
